A love triangle with a bark that even cat lovers will enjoy. Sylvia is a stray dog who worms her way into the life and heart of Greg, a middle-aged man, while he is on a stroll in New York's Central Park. Greg takes Sylvia home to meet his wife, Kate, who has just started her teaching career now that the coulpe's children are off to college. Kate is convinced the Sylvia is trouble for the couple, while Greg can't understand why anyone wouldn't love Sylvia.
